This week Echinopsis gave us a show. He bloomed for the first time. We were lucky enough to be around when it happened. Here are the photos. The event was short but exciting non the less.

Cactus Tale
Randa and I have several cacti that we haul around with us when we travel. They wait in boxes in the trailer storage space when we are on the road. Sit out in our yard when we are home and loll around our site when we are set-up at a park. One of them is a small barrel cactus Echinopsis is his latin name but he goes by Easter Lily Cactus.
