We left Anderson before 9am. 433 miles to Bakersfield. Arrived at RV park at 6:10. Office closed at 6pm. "Find an open spot and come back and register tomorrow." So we did. Walked the dogs, had supper, and now R is watching a little TV and I am typing this.
I am using my phone's WiFi hot spot and it seems to work fine.
Today was a long grey day. Raining for the first two hours, then dry from then on. Let's see, what do I remember? Flowing traffic, bumpy highway driving from Sacramento to Bakersfield, all the towns look same. A mish-mash of McDonalds, Subway, Flying J, Home Depot, Safeway, Texaco, Costco. The positions changed, but the players are always there. They may share their space with some other stores, but they are always around. Ubiquitous
