Lake Tahoe Maritime Museum Tahoe City, Ca

   Last Tuesday the group went on a field trip to the Maritime Museum in Tahoe City.  It just recently moved from Homewood to a larger site.  The current building is one of four that will eventually be built on the property so that all of the 43 watercraft that are owned by the museum will be at one location.
    Here are a few photos that I took while there.

 This engine was amazing!  David K and I poured over it for 20 minutes checking out the workings.  What a beast!

 Check out the cut of the bow.  Quite different from current boats.
