Potting Bench

While we were in a antique shop in Canby several weeks ago I found a project.  I had been thinking of a potting bench for quite some time but had not found one I liked.  The "Red Door" shop had it but it went fast.  
This is what was in the store.

This is what I came up with.  I used wood that I gathered from local building sites and the scrap pile at the local building supply store.  2x4 s and used pallets were the source of the building materials.

Comfort Food

 I am back.  Darn old Verizon and their data limits.  It seems that we cannot seem to have enough to last our month.  So we went a week in minimum mode (or whatever they call it.)  So I needed some comfort food.  How about some Macaroni and cheese and fish sticks?  Yeah, that will do it.!

A troublesome saying

I heard this said in a movie this week.  When I heard it, I played it back several times to get it right  It made me think of what's going on in the world right now.

TMK

Saturday we went for a ride and along the way stopped at TMK Creamery, a small family owned dairy.  They have a retail store that's open Thursday - Saturday.  Cheese and Ice Cream are their products but they have one more.  They recently added something that you do not expect from a diary, vodka.  Yes, you read it right.  They are now making vodka from milk whey.  Hmm...
I know that the ice cream was good!
